At Kilkee Lodge we create Care Plans based upon each individual needs. We focus on what keeps them safe and meets their needs.
Upon admission into Kilkee Lodge we talk in depth to the resident and his or her family so that we have a clear and detailed view of resident's needs, interests, hobbies favourite food and drinks and so on.

We treat each and every resident as an individual. By understanding our residents' needs, preserving dignity and respecting independence, we try to create a real sense of home.

We also focus on meeting their emotional and physical needs, companionship and social needs.
Medications
We at Kilkee Lodge have competitive and knowledgeable staff with regular training programme and supervisions, who would be delighted to arrange for the delivery of the regular prescriptions to the Home and with the administration.

However should you wish to administer the medications yourself, the staff would support and help you any way they can.

We can help finding you the right support regarding
Laundry
​
We provide laundry service to all our residents (but not the dry cleaning), but can be arranged on your behalf.
We ask all our residents to label the cloths for easy recognition.
Hairdresser
Claire visits Kilkee Lodge on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays to attend to your hairdressing needs.
The hairdressing room is situated in the ground floor near the reception area.
Activities

Our activities Co-Ordinators are here 5 days a week to offer all types of fun filled activities to interest you.
​
We organise a verity of in-house entertainment with artists. We also arrange various theatre trips, excursions places of interest or to town.
​
We recognise the importance of social interaction and have numerous ideas and suggestions for your approval.
​

We are also regularly visited by Optician, dentist, Chiropodist and District Nurses
