When People have worked hard throughout their lives and have been committed to helping others, we think they deserve extra cherishing. They need a home where individuality is emphasised, where staff who have time to give attention to small details and where they have the choice of enjoying the company of like-minded persons.

Kilkee Lodge provides quality residential care for long term and for respite care.

Each resident has a tailored Care Plan that upholds their dignity and privacy. 

Our approach to care is guided by two major principles: firstly that each resident retain their right to privacy, dignity, choice, independence and fulfilment and secondly that care is provided by staff with necessary knowledge, skills and attitude.

You are invited to visit Kilkee Lodge Residential Home, where the manager and the staff will be pleased to show you and your relatives around whilst answering any questions or concerns.

Dining

Our Head Chef Jane Ryan and her team cooks nutritious and varied meals daily. Specialist diets and needs are catered for. She enjoys producing well balanced, homemade and nutritional meals. 

The residents are offered various choices if they prefer to eat something else other than offered.

Meals can be eaten in the beautiful and well furnished dining rooms or in the privacy of your own rooms.

Resident's Food Committee

Our Residents lend their voice to the weekly menu and suggest their preferred Food.

'Our Resident's Food Committee' meets on regular basis with the Home's Catering Manager and the Home Manager to influence the Menu's at Kilkee Lodge.

The introduction of  fish and budgies has cheered mum up considerably. Mum has plenty to eat and drink and her room is always clean and so is she.

The GP is always called promptly for any medical issues and I am told about it.
